Hello from Tonbridge

#1

Post by GaryA »

Hi all
Have been hanging around the site for a few weeks so thought it time to say hello.
Having never owned a train set in my life I decided to take the plunge (Hornby TV show to blame)
I have a 00 set on a 6 x 4 board and running DCC.
My operating system is the Digikeijs DR500 using the Z21 app on a tablet. As someone who does not understand electronics I haven't got far with track operating side of things so things have stalled a little at the moment.

Hi Gary and welcome to our forum.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

Welcome Gary. I was new and I started with DCC. Being a technophobe I’ve kept all control/wiring simple. I was chuffed when my loco ran first time. Im sure there are lots of members on here who can help you be as complex or simple as you choose.

Welcome to the forum Gary. Friendly helpful bunch on here. Any questions about the Z21 just ask.

I do not understand the setting up of the Z21 or the DR5000, being over 50 and a technophobe. Got to try and find someone local to help sort out setting up points motors and control
