Re: Why I want to revisit the UK.
Beautiful weather here in the UK. Posts always get hijacked, I have always thought it isn’t a bad thing necessarily, just like a group of friends chatting. As long as the original part of the post has been answered.

Quite something, if a post stays on topic for more than three or four replies. Totally agree with WTD. I like to imagine the mess room, for example, as a club meeting room, where views are aired about subject raised, and then, often go off at a tangent. Many of us on here, talk, privately, hence a sort of club has been formed. Several of us, are/ have been on other forums, so our sense of humour, is well known. We lived in the Lake district, before coming here, and that must be very high on the list of places to visit, for anyone. Prior to that, we lived in Drummore, near the Mull of Galloway, another one, for the list. Needs to be a longish visit.

Drummore - took the caravan up there once - Luce Bay. Nice Caravan Club site right on the beach.
Also stayed in the pub at Portpatrick harbour several times when visiting West Freugh airfield on a job.
Lovely place.

Yes it was damaged. I am only telling you what she told us. Her car and our car went into her garage (where their cars are looked after) in La Coruna together and she had 2 bills to pay. I have no idea what happened when she went home. All I know is my car was just as good as new when I collected it. It was only 1 year old at the time. As far as I know her husband could have been working away abroard or something. Some people do you know. It is not very strange at all.Walkingthedog wrote: ↑Sat Mar 26, 2022 8:20 am Sandy surely the car belonging to the woman who drove into you was damaged so how would her husband not know?
Very strange.

Not been doing much to that this week because the weather has been great today we went to a garden centre and got some plants to put into the front boarders

Never mind Sandy I queried something and you asked me if I thought you’d made it up, why would I think that, we’re not kids.
Lets talk trains, much more fun.
