I've tried another pm42 and it works so it's not my wiring . Wondering if it's a reverse loop set up !

Puzzling. Not quite sure what a one of them is but if one is a reverser and the others are not then it could well be the culprit.

I never did get a reverser myself even though I wanted one, but these days I have abandoned DCC as I missed DC too much. (Not sure why. I just did!)

Someone will have the answer.

What is a PM42 and what is it supposed to do? I am familiar with most Lenz, but the only Digitrax items that I bought were two loco decoders as back in those days they were the only loco decoders that one could limit the top speed. Jolly expensive things costing the same as a loco each!

Surely if a different one is OK the other one is faulty.

Yes it looks that way I have not done any program changes so that's that then.

Digitrax offer a one year replacement called No Worries. If its older than a 12 months they also offer a repair service. I'm not sure who is their UK repair serving agent? But it must be worth seeking out a paid for repair as the worse option should be cheaper than a new unit (Though the PM42 has been superseded now by their PM74 unit)

Good luck :D
