Got that to look forward to Brian. Over the last 3 months four of us have shifted 50 tons of crushed limestone laying paths. Just another 30 to go, so at the moment my body is 73 but feels 93.

Only a small update but I need more advice

Luke and I have stinking colds and didn’t fancy tackling anything complex so thought we’d build some terrain. It’s basically expanding foam sprayed into a rough shape then cut, covered in plaster of Paris and bandages.



I’m going to static grass the area (when I buy one) but was wondering what colour to paint the plaster, brown or green?

I used brown undercoat for the flock on the cliffs but never used static grass before.

For what it's worth, I use a light, sandy brown on areas where I know the grass will have edges or thin coverage i.e. alongside paths and tracks and a lightish green under field areas. I also tend to stick with groundcover paints from the Woodland Scenics range for that purpose.

If you don't have the paint, Matchpots are a good source, usually cost a pound or two, but unless you are decorating the house, you will not require a five litre tin.
