Not been active since Christmas due to virus thing but look in here several times a day to see if I can contribute.
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

Re: No posts
I’m possibly one of the few forum members of working age (36 - can anyone go lower than that? ) so Monday - Friday is generally read-only, snatching the occasional skim read at lunch or in the evenings.
Sometimes life does genuinely get in the way of working on my model railway so I have scant updates or questions related to its progress.
Personally I tend to stay within my experience or knowledge, so DC control with vaguely modern rolling stock, and offering basic modelling and layout build suggestions for others from my own build experience, hardships and triumphs. I don’t have any interest/knowledge to do with DCC which rules out a decent chunk of posts I could contribute to. I’m generally of the opinion that if I don’t have anything useful to say, or I know other members could contribute something with more expertise or fact, I defer to them.
Is there any way the forum could expand its readership? The other place seems to do OK, though with the caveat that quality is infinitely better than quantity!
