I wish I had that outlook - I get in the shed, see how much there is to do, the empty baseboard areas and never run a train, sometimes for weeks! The project manager doesn’t know why I have the trains.

Nice shots.
Thanks Carl.

The building of structures and the like are taking their toll. The aches and pains are taking the enjoyment out of model railroading.
Like you, my Project Manager wonders why I have so many locos (and not running them).

Hence the new 'Orders of the Day'. RUN THE TRAINS.

A 45t crane from Kleinbahn of Austria. It is HO scale and does not overpower the scene. The guy selling it wanted £12.00. I offered a cheeky £9.00 and it was accepted. Some weathering to take away the 'plastic look'.

Another scene of Charlie Marston's Salvage Yard. The men are hard at work.

In the train room yesterday 13.04.24 and the sun was shining through the window. My time to take five minutes out.

Great pictures as usual - it's amazing how those "five minutes" can stretch into an hour - according to management :?

Model railways 'five minutes' is productive.
Whereas management on the telephone to a friend for 'five minutes' is not. ("What was you talking about?" I ask. "Nothing," the management says????)

Thank you dtb. I have always wanted a scrap yard on layouts I have had. Charlie Marston's is something a little different to the norm.
