N gauge coupler springs

#1

Post by SOOTYBRUM »

Help, grandson dropped a Tomix Thomas the Tank N gauge Engine yesterday and managed to dislodge coupler etc. Can't find spring. Have looked all over floor to no avail.
Can anyone recommend a shop or on Ebay where I can purchase spares.
Have no ide what length/size it was but I know it was very small.

Any advice welcome and thks.

I've not used them, but I did find a link to their site elsewhere on this forum - perhaps give them a shout?

The above post refers to Farish who sell there own locos not Tomlx as you have, these are hard to get spares for, i would try Osborn https://www.osbornsmodels.com/tomix-120-c.asp

I have now got the required springs etc but now I need the Tomix N gauge Thomas the Tank engine to be repaired. I now need to reinsert the springs/couplings etc.. Can anyone recommend someone. I have tried myself but my hands are clearly too big. I live in the Bristol area.
Thks
