Auto Train and Ye Olde Steam

in the 1970's, a privately owned passenger service emerged for a period of ten years,
Auto Train Corp, a Ro-Ro affair. They used some rather interesting technology to
make it all work, and I have been wanting to model it since this issue of Model Railroader
came out some forty years ago!
