Fairbairn Lawson's Leeds were manufacturers of metal goods. During the war they changed production to small arms and munitions

Hello glencairn,

Would you happen to know if any of these munition wagons would have gone on to be used in wwII ? I have seen similar wagons for sale but have held off until I gather a little more information,

Sure Lee. Most munitions wagons I have were seen in WW2. Would they be seen in WW1? Some not. I love the variety of wagons and Rule 1 comes into place.

Obviously the L&Y and NBR ones are WW1.

I bought my wagons from Wessex Wagons, Yeovil Railway Centre. No affiliation.
