Your hinge looks close to rail level. Surprized it works. Well done!

3mm spacer under the hinges and as the hinged bit doesn’t go past the vertical it works fine.

I did Howard. Airfix 1:48. Not quite O gauge 1:43 but not far off.

That's a nice little museum Brian - like the Hurricane. I still have a hankering for the 1/24th Airfix Mosquito - but don't have the time to build it - lots on eBay.

That must be a large kit Barry. Trouble is where do you put it once built. That is the first aircraft kit I have built in decades.
