Vintage Operations Montage, Parts I, II, III

#1

Post by Chops »

Took out a box of gifted old HO models that hadn't ever been run. Ended up running three trains at once on the Club layout with a little
help from my friends, Crusty and Kentucky Fred, to be specific. Crusty runs Class I freight trains for the last 20 years and Fred is a pistol
packing retired G.I. Good laughs, good trains, and did some ad hoc operations using Old School stuff. The vintage horn hook couplers work
as good, or even better, than the modern knuckles when building up and running trains. For five hours, I was 11 years old, again.
