An acknowledgement symbol or thumbs up to a post

I, for one, am quite content to continue using the English language and the selection of smilies this site already provides.

Not worried about it being quicker and I don’t need to respond to every post. Something is good I say it is.

It’s nice to keep this forum human, not a quick tap on an icon. Leave that to Facebook etc.

A like button would mean I can say I like it, without creating a post to say that, making threads that that are mostly people saying they like it. If that makes sense.

I agree but looks like we are outnumbered.

I shall be careful not to praise those who would rather have a thumbs up sign. Trouble is I won’t remember who they are. They can always ignore it if I get it wrong.

If I say something is good I very often like to say why.
