Uncoupling

#1

Post by ajcooper4 »

I’m starting to think about uncoupling now as my layout is progressing. There seem to be so many options. What have people used & what do they recommend please?

The question is do you want to uncouple by hand or remotely, mechanically or electrically?

When I used tension locks I used a simple L shaped item to lift the hooks up manually. On shunting locos to make the matter simpler I removed the hooks.

The first question I would ask you is what type of coupling are you referring too?
Ron

NCE DCC, 00 scale, very loosely based on GWR
