Change of car? Maybe.
Re: Change of car? Maybe.
That 3 cylinder, 1 litre engine is a masterpiece. I believe the engine block is small enough to fit on a sheet of A4 paper!
My other car is a Fiesta ST 1.6 turbo - 205 bhp. Absolutely flies.

Re: Change of car? Maybe.
I used to have a Volvo 131 (Amazon) which was registered in 1965. When I last owned it and took it for an MOT, the young MOT tester started to put the exhaust emmissions equipment in the exhaust. I told him that the car was exempt from the emissions test and the car was built years before catalytic converters came out. It ran on the old leaded petrol (I had to add the additive).
"Well, it's passed the emissions anyway" he said.

Re: Change of car? Maybe.
Just before Christmas the Kuga suffered a small stone chip on the windscreen which I had professionally repaired at the time.
Unfortunately the screen cracked the other day when I turned on the aircon for the first time - thermal shock.
I booked a replacement through Autoglass but the earliest appointment was best part of three weeks away and they indicated they were only repairing cars of ‘keyworkers’ so I added a comment to tha5 effect on the booking form.
Today they phoned me, checked my employment and offered me an earlier appointment next week.
Not bad service at all.

Had this about 7 weeks now. What a time to get a new motor ! It's an absolute beast, 250hp, 0-60 in 7 seconds, and the most comfortable car we've ever had.
Really looking forward to the day I can take it off-road to see if it's as good as they say it is.

Re: Change of car? Maybe.
I've only had a few cars, some real old bangers when I was young, but since 1980 I've only had 5 - either new or ex demonstrators/pre registered. My first new one was a MK3 Ford Escort. I have a Mazda 3 at the moment, my third Mazda in a row.
Re: Change of car? Maybe.
So what did you choose, Brian......Petrol, diesel, self-charge hybrid, plug-in hybrid or full EV?
Sorry I'm late but I couldn't get my flip-flops to work
