I made a batch of I beams yesterday, started cutting and installing today. Stopped dead in my tracks when I ran out of I beams - short by 57”. Low Ghyll has been dusted off - two years after it was mothballed.
I recently raised the shelf that it sits on to give a little more space above West Orton and finally got round to shortening what used to be the unused storage yard. This has necessitated a revised lift out section.
Finished the wiring this morning and reused the old West Orton bridge, suitably narrowed, to give it a bit of interest.
Locos have run across the bridge but the rest of the layout is seriously dirty and the board joints need adjusting - again.
