GWR water tower roof

Help! I've scratchbuilt a GWR water tower on legs but have made a right lash up of the curved roof. I've tried to make corrugated panels from foil food containers and a right mess has ensued. Anyone suggest another roof material used in real life! Am becoming a bit frustrated - almost jumped on the thing yesterday evening!

Good wood scenics do corrugated sheets very cheap on Amazon
It does not take me long to do five minutes work.
Nostalgia is not what it used to be.
