We had the Ark in our garden earlier but it was washed away in a north westerly direction.

It’s working its way up the country. North of Liverpool at present.

The storm lasted about 30 minutes and the temperature went from 33 to 23.

Impressive though wasn’t it Brian, well at least the gardens needed the rain, there’s still the odd rumble about now. Let’s hope the daytime temp is a little cooler tomorrow today’s been unbearable.

What storm? Here in the NE I noticed nothing. It was a lovely afternoon, nice and sunny with temps close to 27C and bright sunshine. The evening was nice too and not a drop of rain by the time I went to be at 11:30pm.

Today it's not so sunny. Keep the bad weather over to the South, West and North of me please! (East is the sea so they can have some bad weather :D )

Much fresher this morning and the rain yesterday has done wonders for the garden.

Waiting for it in East Anglia - expected later today. Much cooler already, although the house being super thermal efficient is like a storage radiator, so all the windows are open trying to dump heat.

It looks like this lot is going to miss us.

Looks like the storm is going to bypass us. A bit cooler than of late, but still a nice day.
