Does anyone have any tips or tricks to get this motor clip back, already bent this one so will need to obtain another and try again.
The worm came off the motor shaft so while it was apart I gave it a service but struggling to get the clip back.
Thanks

I seem to recall just squeezing it together with my fingers.

Seems to like going a certain way round to push the motor down to the gear and tight to mesh well remember rotating it a few times till it was right

Does not matter if tthey bend as one can bend them back. Even used a paperclip which can be bent to fit. Is only to hold the motor in position.
You have the early example with that body with the nice open motor.

Think dtb might have sorted it by now. He asked the question 2 years ago.
