Complicated buying attempt

First post so in Welcome forum.
Two items in my Rails basket disappeared this week. One of which was LNER10000. Phoned Rails of Sheffield to be told they could no longer supply . I thought they had pre-sold all their expected stock but NO! They could no longer get Hornby! So as Hattons had presold all their delivery order I had to go to Hornby direct.
Hattons of course were no longer allowed to deal with Bachmann last year. Rails cannot get Hornby. What are these manufacturers playing at?
