Hornby Club
Hornby Club
Can anyone advise me on the Hornby Club please.
I joined on the 15th Jan and got a confirmation email, thank you for your order blah blah blah and your order is being processed and we will notify you when it's dispatched.
Fair comment, however I have received zilch to date from them.
Checking my online order status it shows 'dispatched'
I sent a message on Monday 24th to ask Hornby what has actually been dispatched and when, needless to say Hornby has failed as yet to respond, great customer service Hornby!!!
So can anyone tell me timeline of events from when the membership is confirmed to what happens next and in what period regarding delivery and what I will actually receive etc?
Thanks

Re: Hornby Club
Hornby are notorious for slow email responses, as Brian said, give them a ring.
I rejoined the club a couple of days before you, my status on their shop was updated after 2 or 3 days and the welcome pack for 2022 arrived last week. They also sent me the 2021 pack in a separate envelope for some reason.
I suspect I got in just before the rush.

Re: Hornby Club
I received an email from Hornby yesterday reminding me that my Club membership expires in February. It gave some indication on how I could renew. It also stated that you/we should allow twenty-eight days for the Welcome Pack to arrive.
Re: Hornby Club Update
Thank you everyone.
The 'Welcome Pack' arrived today, I must remember not to bother next year!

Re: Hornby Club
It is vastly under underwhelming IMO. Only joined it for one year and that was to get the exclusive SECR H which eventually turned up on retailers shelves anyway

Re: Hornby Club
They sent me two.
Only rejoined this year for the reinstated club discount which has paid for itself already with this year’s preorders. It might expire just after next year’s range launch which might be handy if I can get two year’s worth of orders out of it.

Yes Steve that is a benefit, I am considering taking advantage of the 10% against the new Black 5 with sound and steam (I hope smoke chuffs proper)Steve M wrote: ↑Sat Jan 29, 2022 12:12 pmThey sent me two.
