Oooops!

#1

Post by Steve M »

Had a bit of a headache when I set off for work so as a precaution I took a lateral flow test.
Having dodged the ‘Rona for the year, I have tested positive for Covid19.
I am now locked in the spare room, hoping for the occasional Red Cross parcel, until I get a couple of negative tests.
Now in a race to show two negative tests before Sunday or I will have to miss the show at Ally Pally.

That is not good. Hope the negatives come soon...

I'm hoping (probably forlornly) that I can get a negative one-two on Saturday and Sunday or I have a wasted ticket for Ally Pally. The timing is way too tight unless I've been asymptomatic for the last few days.
But I can hope.

I hope you get the negatives you need Steve - there seems to be a lot of people testing positive who have had both jabs and the booster. We are obviously not out of the woods yet.

I could comment on the government strategy Barry, but it would get me excommunicated from the forum.

We all could - let's hope the recovery is quick and a double negative test follows. (Note in this case a double negative doesn't equal a positive!)

Hi steve, bad timing that. My sister in law tested pos, then the minute she was able, took 2 more, both negative. Breathed a sigh if relief and back to work. Just watched a BBC prog , showing Massive increase in pos tests. Hope we are not going there again. Better now, here in france, French open tennis sold out, and That Serb, has all clear to come. Funny old world.
