I’m renovating an old OO set. Despite cleaning rails and tracks and wheels etc etc the engines still seem to stop and go. Is it advisable to connect the power at several points in a given circuit? (The points are insulfrog)
Thanks

If the track is old it may be steel, and have rust under fishplates, best to have a bus and droppers on all pieces of track. If track does not stick to a magnet its nickel silver and better than steel, it does not go rusty. One other thing to clean are pick ups on wheels.

Thanks It’s definitely nickel. Worth connecting power more widely even then?
