MTH with proto sound
MTH with proto sound
Thought i would post as HO/ international topic blank. I have roco/ marklin, etc, but dropped by chance on these american beasts, buying one from ebay germany. The sound has to be heard to be belived, and the have Cab Chatter, where driver and mate talk together, or to signal box/ Yard master etc. They identify, crossings, and when pulling away, or stopping hoot accordingly. My original, was a steal as guy put no reserve. Have now picked up a second one, in similar fashion. They have coupling and uncoupling, as standard, within chip, plus array of lights. Given money being no object, i would happily only run these on my DCC layout. Finally, they run with sound on DC, as well. john
Re: MTH with proto sound
Good stuff, that. We never had it so good back in the day- playing phonograph records for background effect. I am greatly looking forward to the Hornby Sound Effect Van, even if it means having to obtain a DCC controller with which to actuate it.
