Hi, bought one of these for DC control. Needs app on phone and IPad. Phone one won’t link, but IPad did, and I was just starting to play. Then IPad said uploading to new version, now nothing. Neither will link. Does anyone on here use this system.

Give Hornby Customer Services a ring. They have good people there who will walk you through the setup process.

As has been said elsewhere John - unlink from the iPad as a first step or the phone will not be able to ‘find’ it. Bluetooth can only link to one thing at a time.

When you are in your dotage, things need repeating, just in case they were missed first time. When it comes to mobiles and blue teeth, they simply don’t sink in at all. Thanks for your tolerance .

A sage at work used to say when asked for advice. I will tell you once because you don't know. I will tell you twice because you didn't listen the first time, but do not ask a third time or you will get different advice with clear travel instructions.

Yup, our closest friend here, was a Dutchman. He said, i will tell you once, twice if you have not understood, but after that, you are on your own.

I will have to ring Hornby at some time, as my phone, simply scans into space, with no success. Annoying, as prior to their update, it was fine. I like the product. For anyone starting up in DC, its good.
