Re: Diesels at Crown Point.

New resin houses replacing old Metcalfe card ones.

The fencing between the properties is N gauge sleepers. At last I have found a use for them.

Re: Diesels at Crown Point.

I missed the posting with the next generation of modellers, but nice to see some wider views of the railway. Looks stunning. Thank you, Carl The buildings were purchased from Brian 1951 Another building. Awaiting a new name. The paving still needs to be finished. https://i.postimg.cc/fVryST8y/IMG-3...

I purchased the pub from Brian 1951. It is one I was looking for and fits in well imo.

Beacombe in the Sunny South!

Beacombe is the first layout I've built after a hiatus of over 40 years away from the hobby. In fact it's the first layout ever, all my others as a young teenager were very much in the 'train set' category. Beacombe is a small seaside town somewhere between Southampton and Bournemouth and the DC lay...

Re: As yet un-named

First time dabbling with lights, pleased with the outcome. Justifies the detail I've put inside the bespoke depot I've made! https://i.postimg.cc/svJWDz06/20240902-210446.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/N26HXvG0/20240902-210507.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/vcy9sTXx/20240902-210533.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/K4BL...

Re: Far North Line - Helmsdale

A phone shot from 2023 I came across when looking for something else. It hadn't been edited so I don't think I've posted it up before. A HR 0-6-0 at Helmsdale shed adapted for snowplough duties. The gas tank for the restaurant car can be glimpsed at the right. https://i.postimg.cc/LgLX4xxS/P1010125....
