My lift out section is held in position with large metal pins pushed into holes from above. Almost invisible when pushed fully home.

Would if I could dtb. Just something I know from somewhere.

Excellent. Just a reminder that if you raise the track on foam the buildings affected by the track e.g. platforms, engine sheds etc., will need raising by the thickness of the foam.

It is pretty common to cram track in.

It’s not mandatory to buy the models you don’t like

I have always considered that if anything refers to railroad it isn’t in the UK.

As dtb says all decent retailers will not require any payment for preorders.

Not only possible but it happened with my dad.
