Funny one I did was to spend ages checking my wiring etc and I checked every single thing I could think of as to why nothing was working. Outside track... An out and back garden railway would be fun! BUT keep all power equipment such as controllers in the dry indoors or in the shed. Also, track ideally needs to be as level as one can make it when running outdoors, and soldered wires to aid electrical connectivity are a must. No, sorr...

I am glad it helped. I sometimes used superglue on the end of the axle as long as the axle isn't oily. It would last a year or two. I much prefer repairing older stuff... Keeping it on the rails. I do agree that they can be puzzling when one just does not see what is going on! Once had a Lima diesel...
