Re: Daniel Caso Has Passed Away.
Ah good. You may have to jump a few pages to get progress on his builds. For me it feels claustrophobic as I can't write to him and have a reply. which can feel painful because it feels like a world that is no longer there, like re-visiting an area one knew from the past which has had total change a...

Re: Daniel Caso Has Passed Away.
Here is a link to a thread he created on another site. https://www.newrailwaymodellers.co.uk/Forums/viewtopic.php?t=56426&start=30 I can't show his work on a narrow gauge site I am on as only members can view it, but the site above which some of his work was seen should give one an idea of what ...

Re: Daniel Casso Has Passed Away.
I was looking at his work on another site like this one which was a small fraction of his work. I would love to share a link to that site to show his work but I don't think that is allowed. (Apologize as I could not recall if he had been on this site or not as I had seen him on a few sites). I heard...

Daniel Caso Has Passed Away.
I know he was well known and loved on a few model railway sites through his ability to encourage others as well as being an expert modeller himself. I have recently found out from the NGRM Online site. He will be missed. (I can't remember if he was a member on this site or not as I found him on a fe...

Re: 3 rail to DCC
I have seen it done before but like Hornby Dublo 3-rail operates as a two rail system but just happens to use the centre rail as one of the two pick-ups and the motors are designed to run on 12vDC, it is a theoretically simple enough concept to convert it to DCC, that's assuming one wants to convert...

Re: Your latest acquisition
I think the main two things to remember apart from actually using the actual cuttingedge of lathe tools as I have seen beginners use the wrong side, is to take off very small cuts at a time to begin with, and the second is a potential danger that I came across with my "Toylike" modern Unim...
