Re: Points Wiring

Hi Brian, final question on this topic. I currently have 2 point motors working out of 1 decoder outlet which works fine - when I switch both points operate as I want. My question is, will there be sufficient discharge from the decoder to operate 3 point motors simultaneously from one outlet of the ...

Points Wiring

I'm currently using gaugemaster pm1 point motors, using DCCconcept solenoid decoders. I know that distances between the motors and solenoid should be kept as short as possible. Re: Wiring Gaugemaster seep point motor

I'm currently connecting PM1 seep point motors to DCCconcepts solenoid decoder. I know distances between both should be kept to a minimum where possible. My question is what's the maximum distance recommended between the point motor and solenoid decoder. Any advice welcome. Cheers

Re: Cobalt & Seep PM1 easier fitting

I'm currently installing Seep PM1 motors. Alignment fine and no problems with electrical side. Whats the best tool to cut off excess from pin once above the actual point. Any suggestions on the best tool to use would be appreciated. Cheers Douglas

Points Wiring

What am I doing wrong ?? I’m fairly new to the electrical side of layouts and in particular points wiring. I'm using a DCCconcepts Solenoid Decoder (ADS-8sx), which has terminal markings L, C & R. Despite the diagrams I don’t know which is positive, negative, common. I’m using a mixture of Gauge...

Re: Droppers and points

Hi Brian, many thanks for your prompt reply which was really helpful. In essence then the 3 frog terminals on the decoder have nothing connected then for my points, if I understand you right ?
