Very good. I like the fact that you have added the detail to the inside of the goods shed and the flowers / weeds look realistic too.

The replacement SMD LEDs arrived and have been soldered into the canopies the give a more dispersed light on the platform.

I decided that my ‘bridge’ linking the two ends of the layout needed a scenic break - this I saw the result so far. The static grass and bushes are yet to be added but this does show the way I treat the surface first.
A mixture of plaster powder and playpit sand is sieved onto the surface and soaked in dilute PVA. Before it dries I then brush on green and brown surface paint from Woodland Scenics to give the ground some colour and texture before adding the static grass.
I think a platelayers hut may have to appear on here as well.

I’ve not used any Javis products before - no reason other than Woodland Scenics is stocked locally.
In fact on Low Ghyll all the ‘fluffy bits’ are exclusively static grass. On the N gauge layout however I used scatter everywhere apart from a very few patches of static around some fencing.
Always think statics are too long for N.

The static grass has been added along with a hut and signal - more like a diorama until it’s plugged into the rest of the layout.
Some LED batten lights arrived today - that’s tomorrow’s job.
