Layout electronics.

#1

Post by nigelwright7557 »

A number of years ago I built my own layout on a 6 by 3 foot baseboard.
It was basically a 4 branch layout.
I made it fully automatic and shunted 3 trains back and forth into 4 sidings.
The direction and speed was controlled by a microcontroller.
The 2 sets of points were controlled by the microcontroller.
I added an LCD destination board.
I added a digital audio station announcement system.

I sold it about a couple of years back.

Since then I have got involved with an electronic shuttle controller and a station stop controller with 2 aspect signal controller.

Sounds like my kind of MR Nigel. Any pics or videos?
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

Welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to seeing more.
And the Lord said unto John “Come forth and receive eternal life”, but John came fifth and won a toaster!
