Re: The Shankly and Gdynia Railway
Well done! It looks a fun layout. Nice to see those little 0-4-0 taking services. They fit nicely on nice little layouts, as do the 4 wheel coaches.
Budget modelling in 0-16.5...
Re: The Shankly and Gdynia Railway
Yes, MG, the Little Blue Locomotives look very good with the blue four-wheel coaches, especially as the company colour is blue. The Little Black Locomotive is a 0-6-0 and is much more powerful than the blue locomotives. Many thanks, MG, for your comments.

The Flying Scotsman Meets the Santa Express
Unless my memory deceives me, the motorcyclist on the left of the first photo was a Christmas cracker gift from the 1970s. There's another one elsewhere on the layout.

The Little Black Locomotive
I had the afternoon off work, so I thought I'd have a photo session and try some different camera angles. They seem to have worked out quite well. For the last three photos I was shooting into the light (usually a bad idea), but the effect of strong contrasts of dark and light seems to make the models look more solid and - dare I say it - realistic.

The Little Blue Locomotive
As mentioned in an earlier post, there are two of these locomotives on the layout. One of them is actually my son's, but I won't remind him of that fact.
