Storm
Re: Storm
Days later and still no storm, just the odd hour of drizzle. The BBC weather app just keeps moving it along day by day and my Lightning Strike app shows rain upon us at times but there is nothing when
I look out the window.
I reckon East Anglia is in the Twilight Zone.

Re: Storm
Eh watchit! Can't believe I'm having to water the garden when everyone else (RAF excluded) is cowering from the storms
Most people are shocked when they find out how bad I am as an electrician

Re: Storm
There isn’t a storm any more. Did rain here last night, just ordinary rain, and is still drizzling.
Nurse, the screens!
Re: Storm
I have just been up on the roof the to measure a Velux, could not put my hands on the slates for more than a second.
Re: Storm
Inferno per usual. Haven't seen a drop of rain in ages. Flying out to visit old Army buddy in Seattle next week,
told him that if it rained non-stop every day that I would be perfectly happy with that.

quickly as it dumped. Got things right humid, and did not greatly reduce the temperature, which is typically about 50 degrees.
I have not had issues with bad running for a while, but over the last two weeks it appears to be playing the devil with the track.
Appears to be micro-warping in either the baseboard, the rails, or both. I relaid this section several times today, to no avail.
The cardboard shim was one of many vain attempts to to see if track leveling might be the issue. No luck at all. Going to Seattle
for the week, perhaps a Model Rail Muse will alight upon me.
Not so long ago, it worked perfectly. Now it will not stay on the rails for love or money.
