Somewhere in Yorkshire
Re: Somewhere in Yorkshire
Had another go today on another section of the layout, these were a slightly thicker paper and seem better to me.
Re: Somewhere in Yorkshire
Backscenes looking good and blended well with surroundings - always helps to have a stunning Deltic in the photo frame.
Re: Somewhere in Yorkshire
Indeed, to that. The nifty little fold in the back wall is a splendid touch. I do have trouble discerning where the layout ends and the back drop begins. The Deltic, too, is stunning.

Hi guys,
Thought I'd run some trains today, however it turned into a track cleaning and loco maintenance day.
My class 68 looks like blown another decoder and 2 class 37s needed some tlc!
I keep thinking I should have a route maintenance schedule, at the moment it tends to be run till it stops then do it.
Just like the real thing lol.
Just a quickie of my class 60 being refueled
Next project/headache is going to be to sort the station out.
As you can see, needs a lot of work. Needs a rethink altogether.

Work on the station has now started, all but slowly.
A quick survey was required before work could start.
Installation of 3 way points
Not a lot of progress but I'm getting there

Re: Somewhere in Yorkshire
A little bit more progress this weekend, new waiting room and platform done.
Retaining wall making progress.
New lights going up.
Still waiting on the back scenes to arrive (postie strike not helping). Still plenty to do as you can see. Ballasting maybe next job, anyone fancy that job I'm happy for you to round and do it, no charge

I find ballasting quite therapeutic and no I won’t be popping up to your neck of the woods
Nurse, the screens!
