Re: WEST ORTON
Lovely in that colour scheme Steve. I take it you are impressed with it.

Re: WEST ORTON
It's very heavy if nothing else!
I've fitted a Hornby HM7K decoder with the class 55 sound file even though these decoders don't make the most of the lighting options on this model.
Only run it up and down a few feet of the layout - it's incredibly smooth.
I have a whole load of detail parts to fit tomorrow - it has to be one of the best detailed locos on the market. And at a remarkably reasonable price - £170 compared to £300+ for the Hornby DP1 that won't be out until this time next year.

A small amount of spare time this morning (the kids have blown off the Christmas visit due to chickenpox) so I've added the crew and completed the buffer beams and etched plates.
Santa also supplied some folding currency so I've bitten the bullet and ordered a full fat decoder and Accurathrash speaker.

Santa obviously reads your letter.
Going by the picture there seems to be a lot of metal.
They even have the control panel the correct colour.
Not sure who the strange bloke is.

Yes Brian, lots of die-cast metal on this one. I do have another slimmer figure with his feet up on the dashboard - could easily be you if repainted.

A great looking loco Steve - it obviously needs the correct sound. I don't recall Brian saying he drove diesels

Part time job Barry. If only. That was taken at Barrow Hill Roundhouse

While waiting for the postman/DPD or whoever to finish their Christmas break, I put together a grotty awning for the engine shed.
