Neptune Street one of my favorite layouts. Astonishing detail, and maintains an immaculate thematic cohesion.

Very kind comment Chops, thank you.

Managed an afternoon in there today, laying pavements and working out how the Red Lion (on the left) corner is going to pan out.

I recall it was about 1977 when we visited the UK on holiday, and I awoke from a jet lag sort of coma to see this magnificent and ancient figure of a red lion upon the wall under plexiglass within the room. The lodging, I believe, was the Red Lion. The association that Britain maintains with history is brilliant. I would purely guess the artwork dated to the 18th century, thereabouts.

I wasn’t happy using cobble sets for footpaths, they didn’t look right, and the path was too narrow, so up it all came. I’ve now used ‘proper’ paving for the footpaths and the cobbles for the roadway. Happier now, but I need some more front door steps or there’ll be one or two broken ankles

I’m have a mental block, but can someone point me in the direction of an image of fitted Ratio/Peco soffits and gutters? I just can’t work how to fit them.

Carl, I can't find any Ratio soffits online, do you mean gutters and downpipes?
From a very distant memory, I think the parts just glue to the brickwork or the underside of the roof.
Would comparing your parts with a full size roof help?

Neptune Street one of my faves on this Forum. It just keeps getting better. Love the scrubber of steps!
