Im going to swallow the capsule camera this week, just wondering if any other members have tried this procedure.

Can't say I have. Last time I had a camera going down it felt like half the BBC film crew and sound men were going in :shock:

It’s not swallowing the camera that’s the problem, it’s the size of the memory cards that go with it. And then there’s the cameraman and cable release. ;)

i have camera investigations every 5 years for stomach. All very smooth. Arrive in theatre, say hello to consultant, then local injection. Wake up, see surgeon and go home 4 hours at most.

Thanks Steve.

This is totally different John, the camera is in a capsule which you swallow then go home with monitoring device attached to you which sends pictures to the hospital during the 8hrs you wear it. I have had several endoscopes and colonoscopes, the camera comes out naturally in the next 24hrs.
