Just having a thought, were the Tyne & Wear Metro (BR Class 994) ever made in 00, or are the few examples I have seen most likely been made from scratch building?
Google has not been helpful so far.

I asked on the Facebook page of the Metro and they replied as far as they know there are no manufacturers of Metro trains.
